Manley Appreciates Mr. Jim Grigsby

January 25 - 31, 2015, has been proclaimed as School Board Appreciation Week in Hamblen County.  Manley appreciates our School Board Member, Mr. Jim Grigsby.  Meet Mr. Grigsby:

Jim Grigsby, a member of the board since 2000, is retired from the insurance business after 30 years. Most recently, he was with Farm Bureau.

He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Currently a board representative for the Hamblen County P-16 Council, he formerly served on the board of HC*Excell.  

He has earned the distinction of being a Tennessee School Boards Association Level 4 board member.

Grigsby is a member of the First Baptist Church of Morristown where he assists with the Bus Ministry.

He and his wife, Susan, a Manley Elementary kindergarten teacher, have two children, Caroline and Kyle. Grigsby loves sports and to travel.
